I failed to mention in my last post that among some not-so-great group work experiences this term, there was one that will probably stand as the best group project I’ve ever been a part of.
Alice, Mumbi, Roshan, Asena, Lisa, and I all worked together to create this article about the Libyan slave trade and the related protest that took place in London earlier this month. We did the whole thing within a week, with no fuss and no confrontation. It really goes to show what you can accomplish when everyone is on the same page.
My contribution was photography at the protest and an infographic for background information, which I’m pretty proud of.
